I'm in and mostly done. I' meeting up with a mandolin player next week to do the video. I want to wait for his input on action and playability before I clean up the intonation and saddle work.

The Mesquite-O will be strung by Sunday with plenty of time to settle in and shoot the video by the end of Dec. --Jay

I'm still slowpoking along. Hopefully I'll finish in time, but priority goes to making the instrument as perfect as possible, so I may run over.

If I do finish, it will probably involve staying up for 30-40 hours straight and posting the video during the New Years countdown

I am out. My son's travel hockey has been keeping me out of the shop (for years...)

I'm in. Oil started going on last night, with any luck I'll complete the finish this week and it'll have a couple of weeks to cure. Since I don't really buff it out that should be enough.

I'm out. I'm unlikely to start the build I planned for the challenge by the deadline, let alone finish it.
Good luck to all who are still in, though!

I'm done. Funny thing is it's taking me longer to post a video then it has to build a guitar from scrap wood found in my back yard laughing6-hehe

I hope to have videos posted by tomorrow.

Same for me. Finished a few weeks back, just in time for a new baby to arrive. There have been a few distractions from producing the video. Pics are done though. Should be able to get it all up this weekend.

What a sweetie! I'll be getting another one of those delivered in about 10 weeks. I don't expect to see much shop time for a while. Totally worth it!

Unfortunately I'm out. I received an 'emergency commission' that I really had to take up. Hopefully I'll post construction pics in one of the other forum sections.
